Azerbaijani Army foils Armenian quadcopter reconnaissance attempt
On August 19 at approximately 09:50, a quadcopter of the Armenian Armed Forces, launched from positions in the direction of the Brun settlement in the Goru district, attempted reconnaissance flights over Azerbaijani army positions located in the opposite direction.
As a result of the vigilance of Azerbaijani Army units, the drone was removed from the territory by special technical means, Caliber.Az reports, citing a report by the Ministry of Defence.
Besides, on the night of August 18, around 23:50, the Armenian armed forces, positioned near the Zarkend settlement in the Basarkechar district, opened fire on Azerbaijani military positions located in the direction of the Demirchidam settlement in the Kalbajar district.
In response, Azerbaijani army units promptly took retaliatory measures in the specified direction.
Earlier that day, another incident occurred at around 19:30, when Armenian forces shelled Azerbaijani army positions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The attack, involving small arms, targeted Azerbaijani Army positions stationed near the Lakatagh settlement in the Julfa region.
Once again, Azerbaijani forces responded immediately to the provocation. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that adequate retaliatory measures were taken, though, as with the previous incident, specific details of the response were not disclosed.
