Azerbaijani army holds command, staff drills in Nakhchivan

The Separate Combined Arms Army conducted command and staff exercises to improve the combat training of its staff and personnel in Nakhchivan.

In an exercise conducted in line with the combat training plan of the Independent Combined Armed Forces for the year 2023, the formations and military units involved in the exercise to various degrees of combat readiness were alerted and withdrawn to the exercise areas, Report informs.

In the next phase of the exercise, operations were planned at command posts, reports on various activities were drawn up, the tasks of the units in action were clarified, and plans and reports were drawn up on the organisation of interaction and all-around support between the units.

In line with the decisions taken by the headquarters, the interaction of combined arms formations has been practically practised.

In the last phase of the training, which took place in the simulation centre, the forthcoming tasks were practised on the computer. The analysis of the performance praised the interaction between the different branches of the armed forces and the commanders' ability to make the right decisions in the shortest possible time according to the prevailing conditions.
