Azerbaijani army holds computer-assisted command, staff drills PHOTO

The Azerbaijani army has conducted computer-assisted command and staff drills with the invovlement of military units' staff officers.

The interaction of units and the interoperability of headquarters as a single control body are checked at the exercises conducted under the training plan for 2022, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The tasks made on the computer-based decisions are evaluated. 

The experience gained during the second Karabakh war, Operation Revenge, as well as other successful operations carried out by the Azerbaijani army, is widely used in the exercises.

The main purpose of conducting command and staff exercises is to develop combat plans by commanders, and staff officers and develop their skills to perform joint tasks, as well as to improve their flexible decision-making skills and the ability to control the battle.
