Azerbaijani artillery units enhance shooting proficiency through tactical exercises VIDEO

Azerbaijani artillery units are enhancing their shooting proficiency through tactical exercises with live firing, as outlined in the Ground Forces' 2024 training plan.

Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence told Caliber.Az that the exercises involve units being mobilized from their permanent deployment points to concentration areas. These units are tasked with occupying firing positions and preparing installations for combat deployment.

During the exercises, the units effectively track the movements of simulated enemy forces using universal radar systems and unmanned aerial vehicles. They also demonstrate proficiency in countering enemy artillery assets and detecting and neutralizing aerial reconnaissance assets using specialized technical equipment.

The primary objectives of these exercises are to enhance the knowledge and skills of military personnel, improve command staff's ability to manage artillery units, and facilitate effective coordination with other branches of the armed forces during combat operations.
