Azerbaijani attack aircraft join US, Turkish jets in Anatolian Phoenix 2026 VIDEO

The international search and rescue exercise Anatolian Phoenix 2026, currently underway in Konya, Türkiye, continues with the participation of multiple allied nations.

Alongside Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the United States, Poland, and Slovakia are also taking part in the drills, which involve a total of 529 personnel and 21 aircraft, Caliber.Az reports via Haber Global.

Azerbaijan is represented by two Sukhoi Su-25 ground-attack aircraft from its Air Force.

During the April 14 phase of the exercise, Azerbaijani pilots provided air cover and delivered fire support, contributing to the successful execution of assigned tasks.

The drills are scheduled to continue until April 17.
