Azerbaijani, Central Asian FMs examine paths to enhanced cooperation
On November 15, Azerbaijani and Central Asian foreign ministers met in Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital, to explore opportunities for further strengthening cooperation.
Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov shared the meeting's details on the social media platform X, per Caliber.Az.
“Ahead of the upcoming seventh consultative meeting of the Central Asian heads of state, I held substantive discussions with my esteemed colleagues from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. We jointly explored broad opportunities to strengthen our cooperation and further advance the region’s collective prosperity," Saidov wrote.
He said the meeting heard discussions focused on a range of important issues, including the draft agenda of the Summit, key decisions, and the list of final documents that will shape the future direction of Central Asian collaboration.
"We are united in our commitment to deeper integration, enhanced mutual trust, and addressing common challenges through joint action,” the minister wrote.
