Azerbaijan, China's FMs discuss deepening strategic ties in expanded Beijing meeting PHOTO / UPDATED
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held an expanded meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, in Beijing, discussing energy cooperation, connectivity and transport corridors, and a number of other issues.
“The Ministers reviewed the current state and future prospects of the Azerbaijan–China comprehensive strategic partnership, emphasizing the importance of high-level political dialogue and regular contacts between Foreign Ministries,” Caliber.Az quotes the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's post on X.
"Discussions covered the deepening of economic and trade cooperation, investment opportunities, connectivity and transport corridors, energy cooperation, as well as collaboration in innovation and digital development.
The sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments, underlining the value of cooperation within multilateral frameworks.
Both Ministers expressed confidence that this visit would further contribute to strengthening bilateral ties and expanding practical cooperation across multiple sectors," the post reads.

As part of his visit to China, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi.
