The military leadership from the participating countries in the international operational-tactical command and staff exercise "Birlestik-2024," held in the Republic of Kazakhstan, recently arrived at the "Oymasha" training ground to observe the ongoing activities.
The representatives began their visit by familiarizing themselves with the conditions established for the exercise participants, Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
This included an inspection of the deployment sites and the canteen facilities for the foreign military contingents.
A highlight of the visit was the demonstration of trench combat techniques by Azerbaijani army servicemen. These commandos showcased their skills in navigating and fighting within trench environments, emphasizing both offensive and defensive manoeuvres. Their performance was noted for its precision and tactical effectiveness, underscoring the high level of training and readiness of the Azerbaijani forces.
Following this demonstration, delegations from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan convened at the command control centre. Here, they were provided with detailed information on the training processes involved in "Birlestik-2024." The military officials reviewed comprehensive reports on the activities and operations conducted during the exercise. These reports were presented using a combination of maps and videoconference technology, allowing for an in-depth analysis of the strategies and outcomes.
The visit culminated in the observation of a tactical episode designed to simulate real-world combat scenarios. Participants in the exercise executed tasks aimed at neutralizing illegal armed groups under conditions of limited visibility. This segment tested the participants' ability to operate effectively in challenging environments, demonstrating their adaptability and high level of professionalism.
The "Birlestik-2024" exercise has been a significant event, fostering collaboration and interoperability among the participating nations. By simulating various combat scenarios and enhancing tactical skills, the exercise contributes to regional security and the collective defense capabilities of the involved countries.
