Azerbaijani defence chief visits Türkiye, attends military graduation PHOTO

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, is on a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry said, according to Caliber.Az.

During the visit, Hasanov attended a graduation ceremony for the “Joint Staff Management” course at the Joint Military Institute of the Turkish National Defence University, as well as “Staff Management” courses conducted by the Land Forces, Air Force and Naval Force institutes.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who addressed the ceremony, congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future service.

As part of the event, Colonel General Hasanov presented diplomas to Azerbaijani servicemen who successfully completed the courses.

Emblems of the graduating class were attached to a symbolic stump, after which certificates were awarded to the graduates.

The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photograph.
