Azerbaijani defence minister attends CIS council meeting in Kazakhstan
Azerbaijani Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov is paying a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to take part in the meeting of the Council of Defence Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
As part of the visit, Colonel General Hasanov, together with the defence chiefs of other CIS member states, visited the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen in Almaty. The delegations laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument in honour of the fallen soldiers, Caliber.Az reports, citing Defence Ministry.
During the meeting, held in Almaty, participants discussed the current state of military cooperation among CIS member countries and outlined key areas for future collaboration.
The session concluded with the signing ceremony of final documents.
