Azerbaijani defence minister meets with rector of Turkish National Defence University PHOTO

On September 14, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with a delegation led by the rector of the National Defence University of the Republic of Türkiye, Professor Erhan Afyoncu.

After greeting the guests, the Minister of Defence informed about the large-scale provocation committed by units of the Armenian armed forces in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry's press service.

At the meeting, the sides stressed the importance of further development of joint cooperation in the field of military education and in other areas within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye military alliance, as well as the importance of exchanging experience with the Turkish National Defence University.

Professor E. Afyoncu offered condolences regarding servicemen, who became Shehids (Martyrs) as a result of the large-scale Armenian provocation and noted the positive impact of mutual exchange of experience in the field of military education on improving the knowledge and skills of servicemen and pledged to continue relevant activities in the future.
