Azerbaijani defence minister participates in IDEF-23 opening ceremony PHOTO

Azerbaijani Defence Minister Col Gen Zakir Hasanov and other high-ranking officials of the Ministry took part in the opening ceremony of the 16th International Defence Industry Exhibition "IDEF - 23" held in Istanbul.

It was noted that the leadership of the ministry familiarised with weapons, equipment and military hardware presented at the stands of "ASELSAN", "ROKETSAN", "DEARSAN" and other companies at the exhibition, Caliber.Az reports per the Defence Ministry.

During his visit to Türkiye, the Azerbaijani defence minister met with Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kajir.

The sides discussed prospects of developing military-technical cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.

In conclusion, a ceremony of mutual presentation of gifts was held.
