Azerbaijani defence minister, Pentagon policy chief discuss regional situation, security issues

The US Under Secretary of Defence for Political Affairs Colin Kahl held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on June 2.

The sides had a detailed exchange of views on the ties between the two countries, the situation in the region, and security issues, Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the telephone conversation, they also discussed prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation between the two countries.
