Azerbaijani defence officials meet Chinese counterparts at Xiangshan Forum PHOTO

Azerbaijan's defence delegation, led by Deputy Defense Minister and Director General Agil Gurbanov, participated in the 11th Xiangshan Forum held in Beijing.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Gurbanov had a significant meeting with Admiral Dong Jun, China's Minister of National Defence, during the forum, Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

This event gathered representatives from over 100 countries, along with officials from regional and international organizations. Gurbanov expressed his appreciation to Admiral Dong Jun for the invitation and the opportunity to engage in this high-profile international forum.

During his visit, Gurbanov also held discussions with the head of the Central Military Council's Department of Armaments, Military Equipment, and Technologies, as well as with representatives from various companies within China's state defence industry. The meetings focused on evaluating the current state and future prospects of military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.

The Xiangshan Forum, known for its high-level discussions on international security and defence issues, provided a platform for these crucial bilateral engagements.
