Azerbaijani delegation visits South Korea to study customs systems PHOTO
A delegation from Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee has visited the Republic of Korea to exchange expertise on customs administration, logistics and modern border management practices.
According to Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee, the delegation was led by First Deputy Chairman Major General Bahruz Guliyev, Caliber.Az reports.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani officials toured Incheon International Airport, where they observed customs operations and learned about the airport's cargo handling procedures, logistics management and customs control systems.
The delegation also visited a private logistics company operating in Incheon's free trade zone, where they received briefings on logistics processes, cargo management and modern operational practices.
At the airport's Express Cargo Logistics Centre, officials were introduced to South Korea's approaches to organising air cargo transportation, accelerating data processing and streamlining customs clearance procedures.
The delegation also examined the use of modern technologies in customs operations, including risk management systems and passenger screening procedures.
