Azerbaijani deputy FM visits Canada

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev visited Canada on June 13-17, 2022.

During the visit, the deputy minister met with Head of the Canada-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Philip Lawrence, Canadian Prime Minister's Foreign and Defence Policy Adviser Dan Costello, Deputy Foreign Ministers Marta Morgan, Sandra McCardell and other officials, according to Report.

The current Azerbaijan-Canada relations, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation, and the development of inter-parliamentary relations were discussed at the meetings.

The sides also exchanged views on the development of prospects for cooperation within the regional and international organisations.
