Azerbaijani diplomat meets with Assistant Secretary of State in US PHOTO

Assistant to the Azerbaijani president, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev is on a working visit to the US.

He met with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried, Caliber.Az reports.

The sides discussed the current normalisation of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, a peace treaty, delimitation of the border and transportation routes in the region.

Bilateral strategic ties between Baku and Washington were also discussed.
