Azerbaijani elite forces share combat know-how with Belarusian counterparts PHOTO

Azerbaijani and Belarusian Special Forces personnel have met in Baku as part of an ongoing bilateral defence cooperation initiative.

During the visit, the Belarusian delegation toured a military unit of the Azerbaijani Special Forces, where they laid flowers at a bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev and at a monument commemorating fallen soldiers, Caliber.Az reports citing the Defence Ministry.

The Azerbaijani side provided a detailed briefing on its Special Forces, responding to questions from their Belarusian counterparts. Officials from both countries also exchanged views on potential areas for cooperation and discussed proposals aimed at strengthening military ties.

The visit concluded with the Belarusian delegation observing live demonstrations of combat training exercises by Azerbaijani Special Forces.
