Azerbaijani embassy in Latvia marks Independence Day & diplomatic relations

On May 15, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Latvia organized an official reception to commemorate the May 28 Independence Day of Azerbaijan and the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia.

The reception was attended by members of the Latvian government, Saeima deputies, high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other state agencies, heads of diplomatic missions, accredited in the country, representatives from the local community, academic circles, cultural figures, and Azerbaijani nationals residing in Latvia, as informed by the embassy to APA.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Latvia Elnur Sultanov and Latvian Minister of Agriculture Armands Krauze delivered speeches at the event.
