On September 27, the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Netherlands hosted an artistic and musical event dedicated to Remembrance Day.
The gathering attracted representatives from the diplomatic corps, members of the Dutch public, and the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities residing in the country, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The event opened with the performance of the Azerbaijani national anthem, followed by a moment of silence to honour the memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mammad Ahmadzada, emphasised the significance of the day as a tribute to the immortal memory of these heroes and a demonstration of loyalty to the heroic heritage of the Azerbaijani people.
The program included video presentations focused on Remembrance Day, statements by President Ilham Aliyev, the 44-day Patriotic War, and the martyrs.
Azerbaijani and Turkish musicians living in the Netherlands also performed, contributing to the evening’s artistic and musical tribute.
