Azerbaijani energy minister meets Pakistani & Italian energy leaders

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov held meetings with Pakistan's Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik, and CEO and General Manager of the Italian company Saipem, Alessandro Puliti, within the framework of the World Energy Congress in Milan, Italy.

During the meeting with Musadik Malik, the sides exchanged views on the implementation of the signed contract for long-term LNG supplies to Pakistan, cooperation within COP29, and ensuring a global energy transition, Caliber.Az learned from the Energy Ministry.

In the meeting with Saipem's CEO and General Manager, Alessandro Puliti, the possibilities of cooperation in the context of Azerbaijan's development of wind energy in the Caspian Sea and the implementation of "green energy corridors" were considered.
