“Thank you Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley for welcoming the diplomatic corps to city of London Mansion House for the splendid Easter Banquet! Always a pleasure to see my good friend Ambassador Goran Aleksić of Serbia in the United Kingdom,” Suleymanov wrote on X.
Langley has served as the 697th Lord Mayor of London since November 7, 2025. The centuries-old role represents the interests of the City of London and is distinct from the political leadership of Greater London, focusing primarily on promoting the capital as a leading global financial hub.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has been in office since 2016 and secured a third consecutive term in May 2024.
