Azerbaijani envoy, Belarus FM discuss development of regional ties

Azerbaijani Ambassador in Minsk Maharram Aliyev has held a meeting with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov.

“The parties discussed preparations for the next bilateral contacts at the highest level in October-November this year,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the Belarusian Foreign Ministry press service.

In addition, the meeting addressed a wide range of issues on the Belarusian-Azerbaijani agenda with a focus on the implementation of strategic trade and economic agreements, development of regional ties.

Ryzhenkov and Aliyev agreed to continue close coordination of joint actions in the line of foreign ministries.

Strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus have been established and developed thanks to the important role of genuine amicability, high-level dialogue and mutual understanding between the leaders of the two states.
