Azerbaijani envoy in Tehran explores cooperation with Ardabil governor
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Iran, Ali Alizade, met in Tehran with Masoud Emami, the governor of Iran’s Ardabil Province, to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation.
Governor Emami presented Ardabil’s investment potential in tourism, agriculture, mining and processing industries, expressing strong interest in attracting foreign investment, Caliber.Az reports via IRNA.
He also invited the Azerbaijani ambassador to participate in the upcoming International Investment Forum in Ardabil.
The meeting addressed cooperation in transport and road construction, the organisation of joint cultural and literary events, as well as the resolution of mutual customs issues.
One of the key outcomes was an agreement to prepare a twinning arrangement between Ardabil and one of Azerbaijan’s cities.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their intention to continue dialogue and ensure the implementation of the agreements reached.
