Azerbaijani envoy, Israeli official meet

Director of the Department of Central Asia and the Caucasus of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Michal Hershkovitz has met the newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador to Israel Mukhtar Mammadov.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry representative wrote about this on Twitter, Calber.Az informs.

She expressed satisfaction with the meeting with Mukhtar Mammadov.

"This morning is a historical moment! I had the pleasure of welcoming the first ever Azerbaijani Ambassador [Mukhtar Mammadov] on his arrival to Israel," she said.
