Azerbaijani envoy thanks Belgian authorities for preventing Armenian provocation
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Belgium and Luxembourg, head of the country's mission to the European Union (EU) Vagif Sadigov has expressed his gratitude to Brussels for preventing “possible violence by Armenian radicals against the Azerbaijani Embassy.”
"Our words of gratitude go to the Belgian Foreign Ministry and the Brussels Montgomery Police Department for taking necessary precautionary measures aimed at preventing possible violence of Armenian extremists on October 1 against the Embassy of Azerbaijan. Thank you!" the ambassador wrote on X, according to Caliber.Az.
Earlier, Sadigov said that representatives of “extremist organizations of the Armenian diaspora” living in Belgium were going to resort to violence in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Brussels.
