Azerbaijani expert: Political regimes in Iran, Armenia similar

Azerbaijani political analyst and expert Elchin Mirzabayli has said that the political regimes in Iran and Armenia are the same.

Mirzabayli made the remarks at recent public discussions in Baku dedicated to Lake Orumiyeh, Report informs.

He noted that Iran is also committing environmental terror.

"The Iranians do not differ from the Armenians and repeat the actions of the Armenian regime. Our compatriots in South Azerbaijan [northwestern Iran] are suffering from the Iranian regime. According to statistics, there are currently 50 Armenian schools in Iran. The Armenian language is thoroughly taught. Proceeding from the documents submitted to the UN, there is not a single fact confirming the teaching of the Azerbaijani language on the territory of South Azerbaijan and in general on the territory of the state now called Iran," the political analyst added.
