Azerbaijani FM: Armenia hinders international efforts on normalisation process
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that Armenia hinders international efforts in the normalisation process.
Bayramov made the remarks at a meeting with Advisor to Continental Europe and Türkiye Advisor in the Office of the French President Isabelle Dumont on September 29, Report informs.
The issues of bilateral political and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and France, tension in the region and the steps necessary for the normalisation process were discussed during the meeting.
The minister thoroughly informed about the provocations of the Armenian side in the border areas, noting that Armenia does not fulfill its obligations within the agreements reached at the level of leaders.
Bayramov brought to the attention of the opposite side Azerbaijan’s position on ensuring stability in the region, restoration of routes, the delimitation process and signing of a peace agreement.
In turn, Dumont noted the need to stabilise the situation in the region, observe the ceasefire regime, resume the normalisation process and negotiations.
She noted that the French side is ready to assist in this process.
