Azerbaijani FM briefs Albanian counterpart on peace efforts with Armenia

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has briefed his Albanian counterpart, Ferit Hoxha, on Azerbaijan’s ongoing peace efforts with Armenia as they met on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly High-Level Week in New York.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a post on X that the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports.

On the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly High-Level Week in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan @bayramov_jeyhun met with Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania Ferit Hoxha @HoxhaFer.The sides discussed the bilateral agenda, emphasizing the importance of sustained political dialogue, high-level contacts, and mutual support within internationalorganizations, including the UN.Minister Bayramov highlighted Azerbaijan’s vital contributions to European energy security through key energy and transport connectivity projects.He also informed his counterpart on post-conflict regional realities, regional and international security matters, ongoing peace efforts with Armenia.
