Azerbaijani FM briefs Algerian counterpart on post-war regional situation
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has informed his Algerian counterpart, who is on a visit to Baku, about the latest regional situation and Azerbaijan's post-war activities.
He made the remarks on August 10 at a press conference with Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra, who is the special representative of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Report informs.
"I informed my colleague about the restoration work, the return of former internally displaced people to the Karabakh region. Our first internally displaced persons returned to liberated Zangilan District's Aghali village last month. I think this is the beginning of a Great Return [to the liberated lands]," he said.
Bayramov noted the ongoing processes between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including Armenia's unconstructive policy.
He also spoke about the demining of the liberated Azerbaijani territories.
