Azerbaijani FM briefs Belarus counterpart on Iranian drone attacks against Nakhchivan

On March 6, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the call, the ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the region. They expressed concern over the ongoing military escalation and stressed the importance of refraining from actions that could further increase tensions.

Bayramov informed his Belarusian counterpart about the drone attacks carried out from Iran against Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on March 5.

The two ministers also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
