Azerbaijani FM conveys condolences to his Turkish counterpart of earthquake disaster
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister has made a phone call to his Turkish counterpart to express condolences to the families of those killed in the powerful earthquake in Kahramanmarash, Gaziantep and other southern regions of Türkiye as well as to the Turkish government and all Turkish people.
Bayramov said Azerbaijan is always together with fraternal Türkiye and is ready to provide any assistance in eliminating the consequences of the earthquake, the ministry's press service informs.
He recalled that on the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, in order to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake and support search and rescue operations, preparations have begun for sending 370 emergency response rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the neighbouring country.
Minister Cavusoglu, for his part, expressed his gratitude for the solidarity and support.
