Azerbaijani FM meets Chairman of Jordanian Senate

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Faisal Al-Fayez, chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Jordan.

Caliber.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the minister emphasized Azerbaijan's cooperation with Jordan on bilateral and multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the OIC and the Non-Aligned Movement.

He noted that next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Senate President Faisal Al-Fayez said Jordan is interested in developing ties with Azerbaijan and stressed the importance of intensifying bilateral visits.

The meeting included an exchange of views on the situation in the region, as well as on issues of global importance.
