Azerbaijani FM, Omani envoy discuss bilateral cooperation Photo

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Saif bin Rashid Al-Jahwari, the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Azerbaijan on March 10.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed the current state of Azerbaijan–Oman relations and prospects for cooperation. They emphasised the importance of expanding political dialogue, economic and trade ties, and strengthening collaboration in cultural and humanitarian spheres, Caliber.Az reports via the embassy.

The officials also exchanged views on regional and international issues, including rising tensions and military escalation in the Middle East. Both sides expressed support for arrangements facilitating the evacuation of Omani citizens through Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani citizens via Oman.

Bayramov and Al-Jahwari stressed that high-level and top-level visits are crucial for further expanding cooperation, developing bilateral relations, and reinforcing regional security.
