Azerbaijani FM, OSCE chief discuss regional security At Ministerial Council in Skopje

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid in the 30th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) in Skopje, Macedonia.

During the meeting, the ministers shared views on bilateral cooperation issues, including regional security, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

“Had fruitful discussions with Helga Schmid of OSCE on the current status and prospects of Azerbaijan - OSCE cooperation against the backdrop of recent regional developments,” Bayramov said in a post on his X account.

“Addressed OSCEMC within my working visit to Skopje. Reiterated the importance of respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of States and avoiding double standards against the backdrop of the crisis of multilateralism. Informed about post-conflict realities in our region,” he added.
