Azerbaijani FM warns of consequences of Armenian provocations VIDEO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has warned Armenia sternly, stating that provocations by the Armenian side will not result in anything positive for them.
His remarks came in response to the shelling of Azerbaijani army positions in the Kalbajar direction by Armenian Armed Forces units on July 20, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
"This is unacceptable. In recent months, we have observed a stable situation on the border between the two countries. Work is being done to normalize relations. Since April, we have seen positive results from delimitation efforts," Bayramov said.
Bayramov emphasized the importance of maintaining the current stability and warned that further provocations could undermine ongoing efforts to normalize relations between the two nations. "If the Armenian side wants progress in normalization and a peace agreement, it should avoid provocations," he stated.
The Foreign Minister also highlighted Azerbaijan's military readiness, noting that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces maintain a strategic advantage along the entire border. "The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have full advantage along the entire border," Bayramov asserted.
