Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry shares post on National Flag Day
May our tricolor flag forever fly in all corners of independent and prosperous Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry shared the post on its Twitter account on the occasion of November 9 - National Flag Day, Caliber.Az reports.
Meanwhile, Niagara Falls, one of the world's largest waterfalls, located between the United States of America and Canada, were illuminated with the colours of the Azerbaijani national flag on November 9, National Flag Day, on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy to the US, APA reported.
As November 8 marked Azerbaijan's Victory Day, the Embassy sent a corresponding appeal to the management of the State Park for illumination of the waterfall with the colours of the flag on this day, and the management of the park has taken a positive decision on this appeal, the report added.
In the same vein, the National Library building, which is one of the main symbols of the Belarusian capital Minsk, was illuminated with the colours of the Azerbaijani national flag.
Azertac reports that the action was jointly initiated by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belarus and Trading House on the occasion of November 9 - National Flag Day.
Since the evening of November 8, the National Library of Minsk was lit up in blue, red and green colours.
The video projection was received with interest by the residents of the city.
