Azerbaijani General Staff’s chief visits Georgia’s National Training Centre

A delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Defence, Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel-General Karim Valiyev, who is on an official visit to Georgia, visited the Krtsanis National Training Centre in the suburbs of the capital Tbilisi on September 29.

The Azerbaijani delegation was extensively briefed on the history and activities of the centre, Caliber.Az reports, citing the statement posted on the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry’s website.

Then the delegation visited the Military Scientific–Technical Centre “Delta”, during which an inspection of the military vehicles and equipment produced in the centre was conducted.

Moreover, the parties shared views on several issues of mutual interest in military-technical cooperation.
