Azerbaijani, Georgian defence ministers hold strategic talks on regional security

Georgia’s Defence Minister, Irakli Chikovani, held a phone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to discuss regional security.

The two officials conducted a detailed exchange of views on bilateral relations, the current security situation in the region, and broader defence matters, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

The discussion also addressed the prospects for expanding and strengthening bilateral military cooperation between the two countries, reflecting a shared commitment to regional stability and security.
