Azerbaijani, Georgian PM's talk over strengthening bilateral ties
On October 22, Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi to discuss deepening cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Asadov conveyed greetings from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
Kobakhidze thanked him and asked that his own greetings be passed on to the Azerbaijani leader.
The leaders highlighted the importance of the 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum and expressed satisfaction with the comprehensive development of Azerbaijani-Georgian relations, which they described as grounded in good-neighbourliness and strategic partnership.
Discussions focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation across trade, investment, transport and transit, oil and gas, green energy, and humanitarian sectors.
The two sides also reviewed joint projects currently underway in various fields.
