Azerbaijani, Guinea-Bissau FMs hold expanded talks to strengthen bilateral relations
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities of Guinea-Bissau, Carlos Pinto Pereira, recently met for discussions in an expanded format.
The two Ministers focused on advancing cooperation across both bilateral and multilateral platforms, Caliber.Az reports citing a post published by the Foreign Ministry on X page.
They emphasized the importance of enhancing mutual contacts, strengthening the legal framework for collaboration, and fostering greater exchange of experiences between their countries.
Minister Bayramov also briefed his Guinea-Bissau counterpart on the current post-conflict situation in the region, providing an update on the developments following recent events.
Meanwhile, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Carlos Pinto Pereira.
Thus, the delegation also included Viriato Cassamá, Guinea-Bissau's Minister of Environment.
