Azerbaijani, Iranian top diplomats focus on regional stability

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Iranian counterpart Seyed Abbas Araghchi have held a phone conversation, focusing on bilateral relations, regional developments, and ongoing diplomatic efforts related to Iran’s negotiations. 

As Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed the current state of and prospects for Azerbaijan–Iran bilateral relations, as well as the regional situation and security-related issues.

Abbas Araghchi provided his Azerbaijani counterpart with a detailed briefing on the ongoing negotiation process and the latest developments surrounding Iran.

Bayramov, in turn, emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts to preserve regional stability.

The two ministers also exchanged views on other issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.
