Azerbaijani, Israeli foreign ministries hold consultations
On December 28-29, 2022, a working visit of a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev to the State of Israel took place.
The Foreign Ministry told APA that another round of political consultations between the ministries of the two countries was held within the framework of the visit. Political consultations on the part of Azerbaijan were led by Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, and on the part of Israel - by the head of the Political Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Aliza Bin Nun.
During the consultations, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, and practical issues related to the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel were discussed.
The Azerbaijani delegation also met with the Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry Alon Ushpiz.
In addition, a meeting was held between the chairman of the Azerbaijan Development Assistance Agency (AIDA) Elmaddin Mehdiyev and the deputy head of the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) Aviv Ezra.
During the visit to Israel, meetings were also organized with representatives of educational and research centres in Israel.
