Azerbaijani, Kazakh cities plan to sign cooperation document

Representative of the Shymkent city delegation, Secretary of Kazakhstan’s Maslikhat (Parliament), Bahadir Narymbetov, has said that there are plans to sign a document on cooperation between the Kazakh city of Shymkent and the Azerbaijani city of Ganja.

Narymbetov made the statement at an event in Baku dedicated to the tourism potential of Kazakhstan, Report informs.

According to him, work is currently underway on this issue.

“Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are fraternal countries, our peoples are connected by a common history, culture, religion,” Narymbetov said, adding that the presidents of the countries also give impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
