Azerbaijani, Kazakh FMs mull strategic cooperation, regional ties

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu engaged in a telephone conversation to explore avenues for deepening bilateral and regional cooperation.

During the call, the ministers deliberated on enhancing strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and strengthening regional relations, Caliber.Az reports citing the ministry.

Key topics included the prospects for joint efforts within international organizations and multilateral forums. They also discussed Azerbaijan's forthcoming chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) from 2024 to 2026, highlighting its priority areas.

The ministers hailed the robust strategic partnership, friendly relations, and comprehensive cooperation that underpin their countries' ties. The conversation also covered other mutual interests, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing their bilateral and regional agendas.
