Azerbaijani leadership again demonstrates brilliant level of long-term play Ukrainian expert about the checkpoint in Lachin
Oleksiy Arestovych, a former advisor to the Office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, published a post on his Facebook page about Azerbaijan's installation of a checkpoint in Lachin.
"A couple of days ago, Azerbaijan took control of the Lachin corridor, the only transport artery linking Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.
When two and a half years ago after the peace agreement many Azerbaijanis were in a state of moral collapse: '...we didn't win enough, we didn't get enough,' I told them this was only the beginning. Everything will be yours. It will take five years to solve the problems you face, and those five years are already planned.
Today, the Azerbaijani leadership demonstrates once again a brilliant level of playing in the long game.
One can only envy it," Arestovych wrote.
