Azerbaijani MFA sends invitations to many int'l organizations Regarding snap presidential elections

The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has sent invitations to numerous international organizations in connection with the upcoming snap presidential elections.

The Ministry has sent relevant notes to the Bureau for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM), the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, Report informs, citing the Ministry.

On December 7, President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to hold extraordinary presidential elections in Azerbaijan. The elections will be held on February 7, 2024.
