Poland’s new envoy to Azerbaijan welcomed during diplomatic Karabakh tour
Pawel Radomski has been officially appointed as the new Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan, a development warmly welcomed by fellow diplomats during a recent visit to the Karabakh region.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Gusev acknowledged Radomski’s arrival in a social media post published during his diplomatic trip to the cities of Khankandi and Shusha, Caliber.Az reports.
“It is always nice to meet friends who support Ukraine! We had very fruitful discussions with the Lithuanian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Kęstutis Vaškelevičius, as well as the Latvian ambassador, Edgars Skuja. My colleagues and I warmly welcome the new head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, Pawel Radomski,” Ambassador Gusev noted.
The diplomatic visit to Karabakh was attended by ambassadors and counsellors from various countries accredited in Azerbaijan. The delegation toured key areas to observe ongoing reconstruction and renovation efforts as part of Azerbaijan’s post-conflict rehabilitation and regional development strategy.
Radomski’s appointment marks a new chapter in Polish-Azerbaijani relations, with his arrival coinciding with growing regional diplomatic engagement and international interest in the Karabakh reconstruction process.
