Azerbaijani, Serbian air force commanders hold bilateral talks in Baku Photo
Senior military officials from Azerbaijan and Serbia have met in Baku for high-level discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation between their respective air forces.
Lieutenant General Namig Islamzade, Deputy Defence Minister of Azerbaijan and Commander of the Air Force, hosted Major General Brane Krnjajić, Commander of Serbia’s Air Force and Air Defence, at the Central Command Post of the Azerbaijani Air Force. The Serbian delegation is currently visiting the country, Caliber.Az reports per Defence Ministry.
General Islamzade welcomed the Serbian delegation and expressed his satisfaction at their visit, underscoring the importance of deepening defence ties.
The two sides reviewed the current state of collaboration between their air forces and held in-depth discussions on future areas of cooperation.
As part of the visit, the Serbian delegation was briefed on the operations and strategic objectives of the Central Command Post, which has been developed in line with modern standards and is equipped with advanced control systems.
The meeting concluded with an open question-and-answer session, during which members of the Serbian delegation received further details about Azerbaijan’s air defence capabilities.
