Azerbaijani minister informs foreign delegates of domestic defence potential at Egypt expo PHOTO
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry, Vugar Mustafayev, has held a series of meetings on the sidelines of the international defence industry exhibition EDEX-2025 in Cairo, Egypt.
Mustafayev met with the leadership of the U.S.-based company OCR Global, the Bosnian firm Tehnicki Remont Bratunac, and the Egyptian company Amstone International Group, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry.
In addition, Mustafayev held talks with Yusuf Jamal, Director General of the Strategic Plans Division of Pakistan; Egyptian Minister of Defence Abdeel Majeed Saqr; Abílio Nachingue Paquissi, Director of Military Equipment at the Angolan Ministry of Defence; and Heraldo Luíz Rodrigues, Brazil's Secretary of Defence Products.
The discussions focused on developing military-technical cooperation with Azerbaijan, emphasising the importance of collaboration in the defence industry and mutual participation in international exhibitions.
Mustafayev provided detailed briefings on the development of Azerbaijan’s defence industry, its production potential, and the country’s successful projects in this sector.
